Hyperphosphates, and I think she is improving under this treatment. But I guess Nannie has told you all about her as she has just written. I hardly know what to say to you about the shuttle mill. We have a large stock of timber on hand, and I reckon filling orders as fast as could be expected considering all the timber is green. Expenses up to this time are greatly in excess of out put of work. Newton, the superintendant (Correction: superintendent) demanded April 1st payment in full for his services saying he intended to leave. And the Dr. went north to get a man has not returned yet. Newton is here yet and will remain until Watkins gets some one to take his place. It is impossible to run this business with out an expert to make tools. This is a very pretty business and I hope it will pay after a while. Newton's excuse for leaving is that he wanted you to make contract for a number of years with him and that you refused to do it and then contracted with Petty for a year to learn the business and then kick him (Newton) out. I am afraid you made a mistake in getting Petty. He idles too much time to make
