of any real estate changing hands since you left, so I can't say as to value of property &c. I notice a move on foot to get a shoe factory here, the stock of which has about all been raised. I can give you more deffinite (Correction: definite) answer as to the shuttle mill in a few months. To go in the factory now it looks a little like business but I can't say just how it will pay. We get orders by nearly every mail. Eugene Morehead died in Savanah (Correction: Savannah) about two weeks ago. He was buried here. I guess the bank is all right - I learn it will run as before. Nannie and May are getting on as well as could be expected Nannie will write and give you all the news with May &c. We have written letters to all the cotton factories in the South and have had favorable replies from a great many of them. Let me hear from you as soon as this recieved (Correction: received) then (???) I will write you again and I think more intelligently about the mill. Hoping you a safe and profitable trip I am Yours &c.

T. D. Wright
